The National Council is Artadia's top-level member group. Members (list below) of the National Council gain access to these exclusive benefits:

• Special collectors’ events, curatorial walkthroughs, and studio visits in New York, Atlanta, Boston, Chicago, Houston, Miami, San Francisco, and other cities around the country.

• Curatorial Roundtable events during each awards cycle with Artadia Jurors, who are nationally recognized curators and artists. These evenings include a cocktail reception and presentations, hosted at private homes in New York and in each of our program cities.

• VIP access to the Miami art fairs and the New York Armory Show, including an invitation to our annual VIP Reception and Cocktail party at The Standard, Miami Beach.

• Annual weekend trip with other National Council members and Board of Directors to an Artadia program city, with visits to artists’ studios, private collections, and museums. In 2010, we visited Houston, including a tour of the Menil Collection and exclusive access to their private home, and a special visit to CAM Houston, meeting Barkley Hendricks at his opening. In 2011, the trip will be to Chicago.

• A complimentary copy of our catalogue of all Artadia Awardees from 2008–2009 available December 2010.

With a fully tax-deductible, annual contribution of $2,500, National Council membership directly supports innovative art making and gives artists more time, funds for materials, and access to the people who can provide them with critical tools and introductions for a successful career.
