Artadia supports art-making in local communities. Our programs, which provide financial support and relationships, are unique in their scope. We embrace the local, becoming an integral part of communities, and we help connect these communities to the national stage.

Artists in Communities

Despite the nearly universal opinion that community life is enriched by art, maintaining a viable career is a struggle for many artists. One of Artadia's goals is to relieve some of the financial pressures on artists. We link our national network and financial support with regional expertise, and distribute the whole more equitably. By awarding significant cash awards to artists, Artadia also establishes a strong, new incentive, supporting artistic excellence. Artadia is the only non-profit organization in the country building a national network to support the foundation of creative culture – the living artist.
